How Alerts Work

Alerts are updates tied to the stocks, watchlists, and portfolios you follow. They are meant to help you spot meaningful changes without constantly checking the same names by hand.

What triggers an alert

Alerts are created when a fresh data snapshot shows a meaningful change in grade, risk, or tracked status for something you follow.

What a new user should expect

A brand-new account should not be flooded with random alerts. Personalized alerts become useful only after you start following stocks, watchlists, or portfolios that matter to you.

Review states

Delivery and review states such as read, acknowledged, or dismissed describe what happened to a notification. They are not the same as a system failure.

Where to manage alerts

Use the Alerts page from the top navigation. Your account page stays focused on account basics and next steps instead of repeating the full alert workflow.
